Golden Days at Uluru

I am so blessed that Gay, our White Eagle Lodge Mother for Australasia, planned a very wonderful experience for me at the start of my visit to Australia - a trip to the UNESCO World Heritage Uluru-Kata Tjuta National park in this great continent's Northern Territory.

That is an official statement in the beautifully produced information brochure I have been given which tells the uplifting story of how Aboriginal wisdom of working in harmony with our natural world and Mother Earth is at the heart of all the care and conservation efforts now happening in this extraordinary and magical place.

It is an example of a wonderful change taking place now in many human hearts worldwide.

After centuries of so called 'developed' countries greedily taking everything out of the lands they invaded, killing and destroying the local culture, now huge efforts are being made to restore and respect the ancient wisdom of the indigenous people.

I believe that a very significant part of the work of our beautiful White Eagle Temple, nestling in a glorious hillside location surrounded by exotic birds, trees and flowers, at Maleny in Queensland, is the deep healing of 'the heart of Mother Earth'. In our Earth Healing work we are all doing our best, visualising the light pouring into and helping cleanse the elements and restore harmony and balance in the natural world. And here in Australia, I have already felt closer than ever to our Earth Mother's heartbeat. But, it really was not hard to feel 'at one' with her, as I gazed at Uluru lit up by the setting sun's rays, and the full moon shining down from above. Divine Mother in heaven, Earthly Mother deep in the fiery womb of her physical manifestation being nurtured and warmed by the love in human hearts.

I am looking forward now to my days ahead in our lovely Maleny Temple and the start of the Earth Healing Retreat. I hope and believe that we will all experience renewed inspiration and energy for the work planned for the future here. Please do join us in thought and prayer at the Anniversary service on Sunday 1st September. At these special times of celebration, I always feel an additional boost in the powerful flow of energy between our 'Golden triangle of Temples' - Maleny (Queensland, Australia), Montgomery (Texas, U.S.A.), New Lands (Hampshire, U.K.). We are united in our efforts to heal our planet.
